Alexander's room

Hey everyone, i am back with the blog to show you today Alexander's nursery. We wanted a clean-looking room, that was nice but not too baby-like, so that we coud keep it like this a while longer when he grows up. As we looked for nursery inspiration, we found that the nordic style was the one we liked the most and we tried to introduce touches here and there. Soft colours (mostly white, grey and mint) and some texture from rugs and pillows are what we think gives this space a soft atmosphere. I hope you'll like it.

As you can see, all of the furniture is white. The crib is from a shop here in Hannover. We did not buy from Ikea because they were a bit too low for our taste. The changing table and the closet are both from Ikea.

This is chest of drawers had originally black handles that I substituted for some blue clouds that I found on Amazon. This is a very cheap and effective way of update furniture that does not require painting and sanding.

I hope you liked sneeking into Alexander's nursery. If you would like to know where we found some of the pieces or some decor, please leave a comment down below and I will be happy to answer.

See you next time!
